This project reflects the wisdom and refined understanding of value that come from a life well lived. This seasoned couple has witnessed trends come and go. They have faced the hardships and silver linings of living with little and with plenty. They’ve navigated the complexities of life with family and friends. And now they are in a season where they can simply enjoy time.

With mobility and aging in mind, these individuals were concerned that their practical needs would hinder their vision. They wanted to celebrate their passion for dynamic, modern architecture and harmonize it with the steadfast, authentic, inviting materials of the Mountain West. Their vision was of a compact, yet comfortable home that allowed them to invest in beautiful, responsible, healthy materials and systems.

The design captures their desire for expansive views and seamless indoor-outdoor living where they can bask in the grandeur of the surrounding mountains. It gracefully intertwines moments of simple solitude with spaces that foster meaningful connection with family and friends. The result is a thoughtfully crafted home, where the owners can age gracefully, surround by things they love most.
