This home was designed as a modern contribution to the Saddlehorn Community in Bigfork, Montana. It fuses the livability and charm of a family cabin with the inherent beauty of its natural surroundings, all within a modest footprint.  The primary design goal of this home was to create a quaint, functional home that was seamlessly integrated with its environment by blending outdoor living spaces with the ground at each level, maintaining a minimal profile on the horizon, maximizing views of the mountains and exposure to the forest, and utilizing a subdued, natural material palette to harmonize with its surroundings.
